This was my first serious walk on the Welsh Coastal Path as part of an ambition to complete the whole route.

I really enjoyed this day climbing out of Fishguard and looking back on the comings and goings of the ferries to Ireland.

There are some great spots where you drop into coves and climb back up again. Quite hard going because of those climbs and remote so you need the day’s provisions in your bag.
