This was my first visit to the Isle of Purbeck. I only had a few hours and found a circular walk from Swanage to Studland that offered some fine views across Poole harbour.

I need to come back to explore properly. There is something about these English islands that are today quite integrated with the mainland but have distinct historic identities.
