There is a pedestrian and cycle route across the bridge that used to be the main road bridge going North from Edinburgh. It now only carries public transport vehicles while most traffic is on a new bridge to the West.

It promised good views down the estuary and delivered on this. I suffer from vertigo and there are small gaps in the roadway so it wasn’t ideal but I made it by sticking to the inner edge of the walkway.
