This was a lovely walk to do at low tide as you can stay on the beach most of the way. It runs through an estate and round some classic Scottish buildings.

A highlight was a stone with a Roman eagle carved into it that introduced me to the Roman presence in Scotland. Something we can lose with the focus on Hadrian’s Wall much further to the South.
