Faversham to Whitstable

I started in Faversham and was fascinated by its status as an old port. You follow the winding river on this route which still has a navigable channel marked by buoys.
You emerge onto the banks of the River Swale which is wide and shallow. The walk is mostly sea wall along to Whitstable with the flat land-mud-water views of the Thames/Swale/Medway area. I doubt it appeals to everyone but I love this landscape.
