This walk takes you along the River Medway then across the Isle of Grain to walk along the Thames. The Medway stretch is fascinating for its history and Upnor is a delight.

The paths across the Isle of Grain are a mixed bag but once you are down to the Thames the path runs along the flood defences. It is dominated by views across to the London Gateway port where you can watch large container ships being taken on and off their berths.
