This is an impressive stretch of the coast path running round Beachy Head.

The stretch out of Eastbourne was a nice surprise as you climb up into some bowl-like areas on the hilltop.

I walked on a sunny weekend and Beachy Head itself felt like a pedestrian motorway.

The drop down into Cuckmere Haven is beautiful and went at low tide so could cross without the inland diversion (and with swimming).

The Seaford promenade is pleasant and the walk from there into Newhaven passes traces of some of the older industry including a tidal mill.
